Job summary

Assure Lawyers Pty Ltd is a boutique NSW practice seeking an experienced solicitor specialising in probate, wills and estates, trusts and asset protection. You will manage a diverse portfolio, provide sound legal advice and deliver practical, commercially focused solutions for clients.

The role requires independent file management, strong drafting and client communication, with opportunities for full‑time or part‑time engagement in Bondi Junction.

Qualifications

• Admitted as a solicitor in Australia with a current practising certificate suitable for NSW practice.
• 2–3 years of post-admission experience.
• Demonstrated experience in probate, deceased estate administration and estate planning.
• Sound knowledge of trust structures and asset protection principles.
• Strong drafting, analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage a caseload and deliver a high standard of client service.
• Experience with discretionary trusts, corporate trustees and trust restructuring (highly desirable).
• Experience in estate-related property dealings, caveats and mortgage discharges (highly desirable).
• Familiarity with LEAP legal practice management software (highly desirable).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage applications for Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration.
• Administer deceased estates and liaise with executors, administrators and beneficiaries.
• Prepare transmission applications and related property transfer documentation.
• Advise on estate administration, asset distribution and succession matters.
• Liaise with courts, NSW Land Registry Services and relevant authorities.
• Draft and review Wills, testamentary trusts, Powers of Attorney and Enduring Guardianship documents.
• Advise on estate planning and succession arrangements.
• Advise on discretionary and family trusts, corporate trustees and asset protection arrangements.
• Manage files from initial instructions to completion, with appropriate escalation of complex matters.
• Draft advice, legal correspondence, agreements and supporting documentation.
