MTC FutureReady in Belconnen is seeking a motivated SEE Trainer to deliver Skills for Education and Employment training under the SEE program. This full-time role requires engaging, accessible lessons and compliance with ASQA and DEWR requirements to maintain student files and program standards.

You will manage pre-training assessments, adapt for learners with diverse needs, and maintain administrative duties while creating a positive learning environment and delivering impactful ESL and

Qualifications

• Knowledge of LLN adult teaching methodologies.
• Knowledge of Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF).
• An undergraduate degree of at least three years' duration.
• A recognised specialist post-graduate TESOL or equivalent qualification.
• Practicum experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or Adult Literacy/Numeracy in the last three years.
• Digital literacy skills and the capacity to train others in this area.
• Create a positive and comfortable learning environment.
• Deliver interesting and engaging lessons.
• Accurately complete administrative duties and tasks.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (highly desirable).

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging SEE training sessions in line with SEE timetables.
• Adhere to DEWR Client Code of Conduct and Privacy Notice.
• Maintain student attendance, records and program documentation.
• Provide pre-training assessments (PTA) for participants.
• Support participants with diverse needs and accommodations.
• Ensure compliance with ASQA and DEWR requirements.
• Manage classroom environment and participant engagement.
• Complete administrative duties and timely reporting.
