Job summary

IPF Digital group is seeking an ESD Engineer / ESD Consultant to establish and lead a new Brisbane office. You’ll be the first hire, shaping the team, culture, and project approach from the ground up, with autonomy to set direction and standards.

In this client-facing role you’ll lead sustainability projects, drive business development, build strong client relationships, and mentor junior staff, delivering best-practice outcomes for NABERS, Green Star, and related frameworks across Queensland.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years' experience in ESD/green building consultancy or building services.
• Proven business development skills with a client-focused mindset.
• Strong knowledge of NABERS, Green Star, and similar frameworks.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ambitious, self-motivated, and ready to take ownership of a new office.

Responsibilities

• Leading sustainability/ESD projects and providing expert advice to clients.
• Developing new business opportunities and building strong client relationships.
• Managing projects from concept through to completion, ensuring best-practice sustainability outcomes.
• Mentoring junior staff and contributing to a collaborative, innovative culture.
