Job summary

Healthscope is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its emergency department in Melbourne on a part-time basis (0.6). You will join a supportive team delivering high-quality, patient-centred care while adhering to AHPRA standards and organisational policies.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of nursing experience and a postgraduate qualification in Emergency or Critical Care (or are studying towards it), with Australian work rights and a collaborative approach to care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• 3–5 years of nursing experience.
• Postgraduate qualification in Emergency or Critical Care or working towards.
• Australian work rights.
• Understanding of Ten National Standards.
• Ability to work in a team and show initiative.

Responsibilities

• Assist the nursing team with planning, assessment and evaluation of patient care.
• Adhere to professional standards, ethics and Healthscope policies.
• Support learning through clinical presentations and supervision of peers and students.
• Collaborate with the inter-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Maintain professional relationships with VMO partners and other stakeholders.
• Demonstrate initiative and work effectively within a team.
