Job summary

Sandvik Mining in Milton, Brisbane is seeking an organized Equipment Order Coordinator to oversee the delivery of equipment and components across Australia, New Zealand, and PNG. You will be the link between internal teams, factories, suppliers and logistics providers, managing orders from placement through invoicing with accuracy and strong service focus.

The role requires experience in order management, logistics or procurement, excellent stakeholder communication, and proficiency with ERP/CRM

About the Opportunity

Based at our head office in Milton, we have an exciting opportunity for an organised and customer-focused Equipment Order Coordinator.

In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating the delivery of equipment & components across Australia, New Zealand, and PNG. Acting as the central link between, internal stakeholders, factories, suppliers, and logistics providers, you’ll ensure equipment orders are managed efficiently from initial order through to final delivery & Invoicing.

This is a fast-paced and varied position where no two days are the same. You’ll manage equipment orders, stock reservations, freight logistics, procurement activities, and system administration, all while ensuring accurate product information, seamless communication, and exceptional customer service. Working closely with our global factory network and local business teams, you’ll play a key role in supporting operational success and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities include but not limited to
  • Receipting of Purchase orders and creation of invoices

  • Coordinate equipment orders, stock reservations, and delivery schedules to support customers across Australia, New Zealand, and PNG.

  • Liaise with factories, suppliers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure orders are processed efficiently and delivered on time.

  • Manage international and domestic freight activities, ensuring seamless movement of equipment and components.

  • Create, process, and receipt purchase orders for factory and local supplier purchases.

  • Monitor inventory availability, stock reservations, and backorders to support business requirements and customer commitments.

  • Maintain accurate product information, order records, and system data across ERP, CRM, and sales administration platforms.

  • Collaborate with factory stakeholders to manage specification changes, communicate updates, and resolve delivery issues proactively.

  • Support continuous improvement by ensuring high standards of accuracy, customer service, safety, and operational excellence in all order management activities

About you

As the ideal candidate you are a highly organised and proactive coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and stakeholder communication are key. With experience in order management, logistics, supply chain, procurement, or customer service coordination, you enjoy building strong relationships, solving problems, and ensuring customers receive a seamless experience. You can confidently manage competing priorities, work autonomously, and collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and global stakeholders to deliver successful outcome

You bring:
  • Experience in equipment order coordination, supply chain, logistics, procurement, inventory management, or a similar coordination role.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when processing orders, managing data, and maintaining records.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the business.

  • Experience using ERP, CRM, or other business systems, together with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively identify and resolve order, freight, inventory, or delivery issues.

  • A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and meeting customer expectations.

  • Exposure to the mining, manufacturing, industrial, technical, logistics, or heavy equipment sectors will be highly regarded
