Job summary

Kaisercraft is inviting Expressions of Interest for a Retail Manager to lead a potential new store in Nowra. This role is casual, with a temporary site operation and 20-25 hours per week, reporting to the Cluster Manager and guiding a small team to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

You will recruit, roster, train and develop staff, maintain product knowledge, and ensure store presentation and merchandising align with Kaisercraft standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a store team and driving customer service.
• Ability to train and coach team members for high performance.
• Strong focus on delivering great customer experiences and meeting monthly targets.
• Reliable, detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Capable of working autonomously and taking initiative.
• Experience with MS Office and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to drive exceptional customer experiences and meet monthly budgets.
• Create and manage employee rosters on a monthly basis.
• Recruit, select and train team members to build a high-performing store.
• Develop and manage a small team to deliver results.
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge to assist customer decisions.
• Support loss prevention by monitoring stock and stock takes.
• Ensure immaculate store presentation with visual merchandising.
• Assist with promotions and visual merchandising initiatives.

Kaisercraft are currently inviting Expressions of Interest from Retail Managers to lead a potential new store in Nowra!

This is the perfect opportunity for a retail leader (supervisor, team leader or assistant manager) who's ready to take the next step in their career!

Please note this role will be offered on a casual basis, and the store will operate as a temporary site.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Cluster Manager, you will play an integral part in the smooth and efficient running of the store. You will guide your team to assist in ensuring the store is performing to the highest standard through customer service and presenting the store in such a way that it showcases our beautiful product range. Outside of assisting with general day-to-day operations, your other duties and responsibilities may include;

• Leading by example to drive exceptional customer experiences and help them to deliver on monthly team budgets
• Employee monthly rosters
• Recruit, select and train like-minded team members
• Managing and developing a small team
• Demonstratingstrong product knowledge to assist customers in making the best product choice
• Take a proactive approach in loss prevention management i.e. stock shrinkage and stock take
• Ensure store presentation is immaculate through visual merchandising
• Assist in the implementation of promotional & visual merchandising initiatives

About You:

You are looking for 20-25 hours per week, possibility of school hours

• Experience with managing a team
• The ability to lead by example, as well as coaching and training your team to deliver a high performing retail store
• The ability to create a memorable experience and understand our customer needs
• A motivated individual with a passion to sell our products and drive your team to meet monthly targets
• Reliable, high attention to detail and good communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously, problem solve and take initiative
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite and a POS System
