About the Role

At DXC Technology, we harness the power of technology to deliver mission-critical IT services that drive business outcomes. As a Level 1 Network Operations Analyst, you will be part of a high-performing team responsible for the first line of support in a dynamic, multi-vendor environment. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about network operations and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.

Education level: A university level degree is not required, but is a nice to have.

  • Industry Certifications networking certifications including but not limited to:
  • CCNA (Cisco Certified Networking Associate or ACSA ( Aruba Certified Switching Associate)
  • TAFE Cert IV in Networking
  • TAFE Diploma in Networking
  • Or completion of the Cisco Networking Academy / CCNA stream of courses.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform initial triage and verification of network events and alerts
  • Log and manage incident records in alignment with ITIL standards
  • Respond to inbound support calls and create incident tickets
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents or escalate to appropriate teams
  • Coordinate with vendors and field services to ensure timely resolution
  • Document root cause analyses (RCAs) and support RMA processes
  • Investigate, diagnose, and validate incidents upon contact
Technical Proficiency
  • Cisco networking devices
  • HPN devices (H3C, ProCurve, 3Com, Aruba) – optional
  • F5 technologies
  • Riverbed SteelHead appliances

NOTE: Python, Scripting, Programming knowledge is a bonus.
