Job summary

Webuild in Australia is delivering the New Women and Babies Hospital project in Perth, Western Australia, seeking an HSE Advisor to implement health, safety and environmental requirements on site.

The role is based on a permanent night shift roster supporting critical construction activities outside standard hours. You will lead site inspections, audits and drive a strong safety culture across the project.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in HSE related disciplines.
• Experience in large scale commercial building construction projects.
• Proven skills with developing, monitoring and implementing safety management systems.
• Strong influencing skills and ability to develop relationships at all levels.
• Ability to promote a safe working environment and lead a strong safety culture.
• Availability and commitment to work a permanent night shift roster.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of corporate HSE management system requirements, initiatives, and programs.
• Lead regular site inspections and subcontractor HSE audits and report results.
• Assist with implementation of QHSE components including policies, standards, procedures, guidelines, and initiatives.
• Ensure compliance standards are managed, met and implemented for the project.
• Assist with identification of HSE risks and develop mitigation measures.
• Drive positive safety performance outcomes and produce detailed HSE reporting.

We have an exciting opportunity for a HSE Advisor to join the New Women and Babies Hospital Team in Perth! In this role, you will support, maintain and implement the health, safety and environmental requirements for the project.

This position is based on a permanent night shift roster, supporting critical construction activities outside standard project operating hours. Candidates must be willing and able to work ongoing night shifts as a core requirement of the role.

Perth Women and Babies Hospital

Webuild is delivering the design and construction of the New Women and Babies Hospital in Perth, Western Australia. Commissioned by the Western Australia Government, the project is destined to replace the century-old King Edward Memorial Hospital and will expand the healthcare services for women, children and their families in the State of West Australia, transforming the capacity of two important healthcare campuses: the Fiona Stanley Hospital complex and the Osborne Park Hospital.
