Genesis Mining Services (GMS) is seeking Excavator Operators for its Leonora operations, with a 15/13 FIFO roster from Perth. Roles commence from late November 2026 to late January 2027, as growth continues with new projects and brand-new machinery.

You’ll operate production digger equipment, adhere to site policies, perform pre-start checks, and collaborate with teams to meet targets in a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Previous experience within the mining industry (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate production digger machinery in a safe, efficient, and productive manner.
• Adhere to all site safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Conduct pre-start checks and report defects or maintenance issues promptly.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, dispatch, and other operators to achieve production targets.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and equipment care.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement and a positive safety culture.

EOI - Excavator Operators – Commencing end of November 2026

We are looking for highly motivated Excavator Operators to join our growing Genesis Mining Services (GMS) team at our Leonora Operation.

Positions will commence between late November 2026 and late January 2027.

Due to continued growth and new projects coming online, we’re seeking experienced operators who are committed to the safe and efficient operation of production digger equipment to support our expanding production requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing operation, contribute to our success and operate brand-new machinery.

The role is offered on a 15 days on, 13 days off FIFO roster from Perth to Leonora. You’ll be based at an established accommodation camp in Leonora, with excellent facilities including a gym, as well as access to local town amenities.
