Job summary

Youturn, as the lead agency for headspace Port Augusta, is inviting current employees to express interest in continuing as Community Awareness & Engagement Officer. This part-time role focuses on connecting young people with support, promoting mental health, and building partnerships with schools, families and services in Port Augusta and surrounding communities.

Working closely with the headspace team, you will coordinate youth participation opportunities, deliver health promotion activities

Job Description

This role plays an important part in helping young people access support early, promoting positive mental health and wellbeing, and building strong relationships with young people, families, schools, services and the broader community. Working closely with the headspace team, the Community Awareness & Engagement Officer leads community engagement activities, coordinates youth participation opportunities, delivers health promotion initiatives and helps ensure young people's voices remain central to the service.
