Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking Expressions of Interest from motivated 3rd or 4th year Apprentices in Mechanical and Avionics for the Helicopter Aircrew Training System (HATS) program at Swartz Barracks, Oakey. You will complete your training and transition into a professional Aircraft Maintenance role.

You will learn fault-finding on complex aircraft systems, develop DASR Part 145 MOE compliance skills, and gain hands-on QA documentation experience while working in a safety-focused

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or nearing completion of a Certificate IV in Aeroskills.
• Australian Citizen to meet Defence security requirements.
• Current driver's licence required.
• Demonstrate proactive problem-solving and long-term commitment to Defence aviation.

Responsibilities

• Assist MRO team with maintenance, modifications, servicing and inspections.
• Learn fault-finding on complex aircraft systems under supervision.
• Develop skills in DASR Part 145 MOE compliance and QA documentation.
• Operate in a high-standard Environmental Health & Safety culture.
