All Orbits, All Planets - Join us on our journey
Gilmour Space Technologies is Australia's leading rocket company, developing next generation launch vehicles and satellite solutions designed to open space to more people, organisations and industries than ever before.
Space hardware must survive some of the harshest environments imaginable: intense launch vibration, acoustic loads, vacuum conditions, thermal extremes and electromagnetic environments. Before anything flies, it must be tested and verified.
We are seeking an Environmental Test & Verification Technician to join our growing Test & Verification team. This role will be responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining our environmental test facilities, including thermal vacuum chambers, electrodynamic vibration systems, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) test facilities. You will support the qualification, acceptance and development testing of launch vehicle, satellite and spaceflight hardware, playing a direct role in ensuring mission success.
Whether it's qualifying a spacecraft for launch, executing acceptance testing on flight hardware, or supporting investigation and development programs, you'll be at the centre of validating Australia's next generation of space technology.
Located between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, our purpose-built manufacturing and test facility provides a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge aerospace hardware and world-class test infrastructure.
If you're passionate about hands-on engineering, complex test operations and helping send Australian-built technology into space, we'd love to hear from you.
The below is designed to give you an idea of the role you will play. There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do.
