Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. degree in a technical field (Environmental Science, Biology, or Geology) preferred; community college or other trainings may be substituted.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification and/or 8-hour refreshers preferred
• OSHA 10/30-hour Construction Training

Responsibilities

• Performing visual inspections and maintenance of landfill for permit compliance.
• Operate and monitor pump and treat and other remediation and leachate systems.
• Mow and maintain landfill cap and drainage areas.
• Conduct multimedia sampling (groundwater, soil, surface water, sediments, air).
• Oversee remediation construction and drilling on project sites.
• Waste management and tracking.
• Collaborate with data and project management teams to ensure data integrity.
