Job summary

Daylesford Health team is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Assistant to provide a clean and safe environment for residents and customers at Daylesford Community Health.

Permanent part-time role, 30 hours per fortnight, with shifts from 6.30–9.30am Monday to Friday. Salary is $28.16 per hour (IN19 - Grade 2) plus Superannuation. Central Highlands Rural Health Service is committed to high standards of cleaning and food safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Clean and check all equipment and material used in daily work and report faults, wear and tear or breakdowns to the relevant personnel.
• Be familiar with Material Safety Data Sheets and safe handling of cleaning products.
• Follow directions of the Infection Prevention & Control Coordinator/ Nursing Unit Manager regarding special cleaning precautions that may be required from time to time.
