Job summary

Churches Of Christ on the Gold Coast is seeking an Environmental Service Worker for Southport QLD. This casual and part-time role focuses on maintaining kitchen and residential areas, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

You will assist with meal preparation, dining service, laundry duties, and daily cleaning across the facility, with training and support in a friendly team. Applicants should have experience as kitchenhand or cleaner and be able to obtain a National

Qualifications

• Experience as kitchenhand or cleaner.
• Ability to acquire a National Police Certificate.
• Valid Australian work rights (no sponsorship available).

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, serving, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Set up and clean dining areas, trolleys, and trays.
• Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of residential areas throughout the facility.
• Laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding and distribution of linen and resident clothing; maintain the cleanliness of the laundry and equipment.
