Job summary

ENV Solutions is expanding and seeks an Environmental Scientist / Consultant in our Ballina office. You will lead environmental management projects across southeast Queensland and Northern NSW, handling scope, field programs, reporting, and client relationships with a values-led approach.

The role offers diverse responsibilities—from project delivery and stakeholder engagement to evolving expertise in contaminated land and occupational hygiene, while supporting growth and ongoing improvement

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience, preferably in a consulting role.
• Bachelor degree as listed above.
• Current Australian drivers' licence and ability to drive manual 4WD vehicle.
• Expertise in designing, planning and implementing environmental projects with stakeholder management.
• Experience scoping projects and preparing fee proposals.

• Prepare high quality technical reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver environmental solutions.
• Maintain client relationships and act as a key contact for tasks.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of ENV Solutions' offerings.

ENV Solutions is growing and we have an Environmental Scientist / Consultant role available in our Ballina office. Specialising in Environmental Management for contaminated land, you will be leading the delivery of projects in southeast Queensland and Northern NSW.The role will be diverse, encompassing project management, field programs, reporting and building client relationships.

Role responsibilities:

• Management of environmental remediation projects from scoping and writing fee proposals through to managing program, budget, deliverables and invoicing.
• Preparing high quality technical reports and presentations.
• Collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver integrated environmental solutions.
• Maintaining strong client relationships and serving as a point of contact for assigned tasks.
• Staying up to date with the latest environmental regulations, policies and industry trends.
• Learning from and supporting more experienced staff, gaining expertise in contaminated land or occupational hygiene practices.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of ENV Solutions' offerings and processes.
• Develop client relationships, generate leads and develop service proposals to win new work.

Experience, skills and qualifications we're looking for:
