Grosvenor Mine in Moranbah, QLD, seeks an Environmental Officer to support the underground coal operation. You will drive environmental performance, ensure compliance with corporate and legislative requirements, and contribute to the Annual Environmental Plan.
You will work with the Environment team and Operations to monitor land, vegetation, water, and waste, and to implement EMS improvements across the site.
Grosvenor Mine – an underground steelmaking coal mine produced its first longwall coal in May 2016 and is located in Moranbah, about 190 km south-west of Mackay.
We are building the team to deliver the next chapter of Grosvenor Mine. With a planned return to longwall production by Q4 2027, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to a major mine restart and help shape the future of underground mining.
Working alongside experienced professionals, you will play a role in implementing leading-edge technology, automation, monitoring systems and operational improvements that will define how the mine operates for years to come.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Officer to join the team on a permanent basis at our Grosvenor Mine, based in Moranbah, QLD. The Environment Officer supports all aspects of the environment function for the underground coal mine.
Working together with Environment team and Operations, this role will see you contribute to driving the environmental performance of the mine, maintain compliance with corporate and legislative requirements and deliver on the Annual Environmental Plan.
