Job summary

Chandler Macleod Group is seeking an experienced Environmental Health Officer to join a large metropolitan local government on a temporary full-time contract. You will deliver environmental health programs, ensure compliance with legislation, and engage with businesses and residents to promote public health and sustainability.

The role involves inspections of food premises, cooling towers, and on-site sewage systems, plus investigations of environmental incidents and development applications.

Qualifications

• Degree qualifications in Environmental Health or a related discipline.
• Current NSW Class C Driver's Licence.
• Experience within environmental health, public health or local government.
• Strong communication, investigation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while delivering excellent customer service.
• Sound knowledge of relevant environmental and public health legislation.
