Job summary

Trinitas Group Pty Ltd, an Australian-owned consultancy, is seeking an Environmental Consultant to carry out environmental assessments and investigations, analyse field and laboratory data, and advise clients on environmental compliance and remediation.

Based in Parramatta, NSW, the role is full-time with a salary range of AUD 95,000 to 105,000 plus superannuation, depending on experience and skills. The team works on contaminated land projects for developers, councils and government agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Geology or related discipline.
• 1+ year of relevant environmental consulting experience.
• Experience preparing PSI/DSI/RAP and Site Validation reports per NSW EPA NEPM guidelines.
• Knowledge of soil, groundwater, soil vapour sampling and LAA licence is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and provide advice on environmental policies, procedures and programs for management and remediation projects.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and contaminated land investigations for development and infrastructure.
• Study environmental samples to assess conditions and potential impacts.
• Assess effects of terrain and activities on soil, water, wildlife and vegetation.
• Develop remediation plans and manage contamination control and site rehabilitation.
• Conduct environmental audits, validations and clearance inspections for compliance.
• Provide technical advice to clients and authorities on environmental compliance and hazardous materials management.
• Assist in responding to environmental incidents such as spills.
