Job summary

Onterris Australia Pty Ltd seeks a Consultant Environmental Scientist to join our Contaminated Land and Water team at the Sydney office. You will plan and deliver field investigations across soil, groundwater and surface water, and help prepare clear, high‑quality reports for clients.

The role requires 1–3 years of consulting experience in contaminated land and a tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or Environmental Management, plus a valid NSW Open C class

Qualifications

• 1–3 years consulting experience in contaminated land.
• Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or related.
• Open NSW C class driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver field investigations across sites (soil, groundwater, surface water).
• Prepare clear, high-quality reports for clients.
• Act as client contact on site and support project managers.
