Job summary

Landcare ACT seeks a Communications, Engagement and Outreach Manager to lead our communications, outreach and engagement initiatives across ACT programs. You will collaborate with the CEO and diverse stakeholders to share our story, coordinate projects and deliver education and community engagement events with a positive, uplifting tone.

You will oversee the communications team, leverage social media to extend reach, and ensure activities meet contractual obligations and demonstrate Landcare

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills required.
• Experience in outreach, preferably in the environment space.
• Strong communications and social media skills.
• Ability to share stories in a positive and uplifting light.

Responsibilities

• Lead informing Landcare and the broader community through engaging communications materials.
• Utilise social and online media, monitoring engagement to maximise reach.
• Plan and implement outreach activities to involve diverse groups and promote inclusion.
• Deliver engagement, education and communication events in line with obligations.
• Survey participants to monitor event success and improve.
• Assist with program coordination and media coverage tracking.
• Comply with contractual requirements across projects.
• Develop Outreach and Education plans and support program communication plans.
• Lead summarising and use of impact data for reporting.
