Job summary

Toll Group is seeking an Environment Manager in Australia to shape and deliver environmental strategies across the business. You will report to the Head of Sustainability and provide guidance on environmental risk, regulatory compliance, and performance reporting while influencing stakeholders in a large organisation.

Based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne, you will lead strategies that support sustainable growth, drive risk management, and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and EMS

Qualifications

• Bachelor level or higher required in environmental field.
• Experience with environmental approvals processes is essential.
• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience developing and improving Environmental Management Systems (EMS) such as ISO 14001.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement environmental strategies aligned with best practice.
• Lead environmental risk management and compliance programs including audits and licence renewals.
• Monitor performance and deliver reporting and insights to senior leaders.
• Collaborate with operational teams to promote positive environmental practices.
• Build relationships with regulators, government bodies, and industry groups.
• Provide thought leadership on emerging environmental risks and sustainability trends.
