Job summary

Envite Environment, a division of Workways Australia, is seeking an Environment Officer in Victoria's Bairnsdale region to support the Senior Leadership Team in delivering environmental projects and coordinating services.

You will prepare proposals, reports, and provide administrative support, while contributing to quality and risk management and stakeholder engagement. This role suits someone passionate about ecological restoration and community impact.

Qualifications

• Experience in bush regeneration, horticulture, revegetation, and landscaping.
• Knowledge of best practices for bush regeneration, weed control, and nursery work.
• Self-starter with a passion for environmental industry and ability to coordinate projects.
• Capable of managing administration and engaging stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the EnviTE Senior Leadership Team in delivering environmental projects and services.

About the Opportunity

The Environment Officer will support the EnviTE Senior Leadership Team in the delivery and coordination of Environmental projects and services including but not limited to preparation of proposals, reports, administrative support, quality and risk management.

• You are comfortable using Windows and basic computer programs.
• You are aware of risk management and apply safety practices.

Desired Qualifications

• Formal qualifications in NRM, Conservation or Land Management.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110).
• Qualifications in Chainsaw Operations.
• Current Chemical Users certificate.
• Current First Aid certificate.
• White Card (General Construction Induction).
• Project Management or equivalent experience
