Job summary

Salt, a globally recognised FMCG manufacturing leader, is seeking an experienced OHS/HSE Manager to lead the site's safety strategy at Central Coast NSW. The role reports to the Factory Manager and drives compliance, continuous improvement and a strong safety culture.

You will champion WHS management, risk assessments, incident investigations and stakeholder engagement, with full relocation from anywhere in Australia and support for family, wellbeing benefits and health insurance discounts.

Qualifications

• Proven OHS/HSE experience within manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of WHS management systems and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of Australian WHS and environmental legislation.
• Formal OH&S, WHS or Environmental Management qualifications.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with ability to influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site's SHE strategy and initiatives.

OHS/HSE Manager – Full relocation to Central Coast NSW

Salt is partnering with a globally recognised FMCG manufacturing leader committed to quality, sustainability and employee wellbeing.

We are looking for an experienced OHS/HSE Manager to lead the site’s safety, health and environmental strategy, drive compliance and embed a strong culture of continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Factory Manager, you will lead the site’s SHE strategy, objects and initiatives by:

• Ensuring compliance with legislation, company standards and industry requirements
• Drive risk assessments, incident investigations, audits and corrective actions
• Monitor and report on SHE performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Coach and influence leaders to embed safety as a core business responsibility
• Build strong relationships with regulators, industry partners and internal stakeholders
• Champion Behavioural-Based Safety and safety culture

About You!

• Proven OHS/HSE experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of WHS management systems, risk assessment and incident investigation
• Knowledge of relevant Australian WHS and environmental legislation
• Formal qualifications in OH&S, WHS or Environmental Management
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to influence at all levels
