Victory Minerals in Regional Victoria is seeking an enthusiastic Environment & Community Field Officer. This residential, outdoor role involves collecting environmental data, site inspections, and maintaining monitoring equipment as part of an active mining operation.

You will work with operational teams to support environmental monitoring, rehabilitation, and community engagement, with emphasis on data management, reporting, and compliant practices.

Competenze

• Ter­tiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Applied Science or related discipline.
• Field-based environmental activities or monitoring experience.
• Strong data management and reporting skills (Microsoft Excel).
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A current Australian Driver's Licence.
• GIS and 4WD experience will be highly regarded.
• Enjoys outdoor work and hands-on field duties.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

An enthusiastic Environment & Community Field Officer role in a hands-on, outdoor position with an established gold mining operation in historic Regional Victoria. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the field, collecting environmental data, conducting site inspections, maintaining monitoring equipment, and engaging with stakeholders across an active mining operation. Working closely with operational teams, you will support environmental monitoring, compliance activities, rehabilitation projects, and community engagement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

Conduct environmental monitoring, sampling and field inspections.

Operate, maintain and calibrate monitoring equipment.

Collect, record and manage environmental data.

Assist with environmental audits and compliance activities.

Support rehabilitation and environmental improvement projects.

Respond to community enquiries and stakeholder matters.

Assist with reporting, environmental documentation and incident management.

Promote safe work practices and environmental stewardship across site.

About you

Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Applied Science or a related discipline.

Experience undertaking field-based environmental activities or monitoring.

Strong data management and reporting skills, including Microsoft Excel.

Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

A current Australian Driver's Licence.

GIS and 4WD experience will be highly regarded.

Enjoys spending most of their time outdoors.

Prefers practical, hands-on fieldwork over desk-based work.
