Job summary

Isaac Regional Council is seeking an Environment and Sustainability Support Officer to assist across environmental programs and initiatives that promote sustainable practices in the Isaac Region. You will work with a team of professionals to contribute to biosecurity, biodiversity, sustainability and stock route management, gaining exposure through mentoring and hands-on experience.

Environment And Sustainability Support Officer - Isaac Region

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Environment and Sustainability team as an Environment and Sustainability Support Officer. In this role, you will provide support across a diverse range of environmental programs and initiatives that promote sustainable practices throughout the Isaac Region.

Working alongside a passionate team of environmental and sustainability professionals, you will contribute to projects spanning biosecurity, biodiversity, sustainability and stock route management. This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of environmental responsibilities while being supported through guidance, mentoring and hands-on experience in a collaborative team environment.

Key Competencies Qualifications – Mandatory

• Valid Driver Licence.

If you are successful in this position, you will receive:

• Salary $86,684.00 – $94,446.00 per annum (Stream A, Level 3-4)
• Nominally 72.5 hours per fortnight (Monday to Friday)
• 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
• RDO’s in accordance with Council Policy
• Up to 14.5% super in accordance with Council Policy
