Isaac Regional Council is seeking an Environment and Sustainability Support Officer to assist across environmental programs that promote sustainable practices in the Isaac Region. You will work with a dedicated team on biosecurity, biodiversity, sustainability and stock route management, gaining hands-on experience with guidance from mentors.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Environment and Sustainability team as an Environment and Sustainability Support Officer. In this role, you will provide support across a diverse range of environmental programs and initiatives that promote sustainable practices throughout the Isaac Region.

Working alongside a passionate team of environmental and sustainability professionals, you will contribute to projects spanning biosecurity, biodiversity, sustainability and stock route management. This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of environmental responsibilities while being supported through guidance, mentoring and hands‑on experience in a collaborative team environment.

Key Competencies

Qualifications – Mandatory

• Valid Driver Licence.

If you are successful in this position, you will receive:

• Salary $86,684.00 – $94,446.00 per annum (Stream A, Level 3-4)
• Nominally 72.5 hours per fortnight (Monday to Friday)
• 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
• RDO’s in accordance with Council Policy
• Up to 14.5% super in accordance with Council Policy
