Job summary

Protech is seeking motivated candidates for entry-level mining operator roles across Bowen Basin operations. You’ll receive full training and support to help you succeed as you start a long-term career operating heavy mining equipment.

You will participate in structured training, learn to operate equipment in production, and work safely with experienced teams to help meet production targets. Camp accommodations with pool and gym are provided, and you’ll work a 7/7 roster with 12.5-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Current C Class Driver's Licence.
• Strong and stable work history.
• Commitment to building a long-term career in mining.

Responsibilities

• Participating in structured on-the-job training and competency assessments.
• Learning to operate a range of mining equipment in a production environment.
• Following site safety standards, procedures, and operational requirements.
• Working alongside experienced operators, trainers, and supervisors.
• Contributing to production targets as part of a high-performing team.
• Developing the skills and experience required to become a qualified mining operator.
• Building a long-term career within the mining industry with ongoing development opportunities.
