Job summary

EM Solutions, a Brisbane-based high-tech company, is seeking reliable and detail-oriented assembly technicians to join the cable and fine assembly teams in Tennyson. On-the-job training will be provided and no prior experience is required for entry-level applicants.

In these hands-on roles, you will assemble components and products to exact specifications while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform work under a microscope.
• Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and drawings.
• Outstanding fine motor skills with high attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in miniature assembly or related activities is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assemble high-volume electronic modules for telecommunications and prototype units.
• Build and assemble DC and RF circuits for microwave modules.
• Assemble wire looms: cut, strip, crimp, solder, terminate, test and inspect.
• Assemble production jigs, accessories and subassemblies.
• Perform basic functional testing of electronic circuits.
• Operate specialised manufacturing equipment (wire/ribbon bonding, gap welding, die placing, reflow soldering, vapour degreasing, hand soldering).
• Participate in training programs and contribute to continuous improvement.
