Job summary

Halliburton in Brisbane seeks an Associate Technical Professional to support frac/acid operations and develop technical interpretation at the wellsite under supervision. You will assist in pre-job planning, field execution and post-job documentation as part of a hands-on training path.

The role is entry-level, requiring a STEM undergraduate degree; training will cover pressure analysis, fracture mechanics, rock and fluid mechanics, and diagnostic pumping.

Qualifications

• This is an entry level position.
• Completion of an undergraduate degree in a STEM discipline is required.
• Knowledge will be built through completion of courses based on Pressure Analysis while pumping, fracture mechanics, rock and fluid mechanics, as well as diagnostic pumping.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, develops skills to allow for technical interpretation and operational assistance at the wellsite during frac operations in a professional manner.
• Assists in pre job planning, field level execution, and post job documentation as on the job training.
• Works alongside operations to develop equipment based knowledge.
