Job summary

Rauland is hiring an Assembly and Repair Technician for our North Melbourne team. This development pathway role suits someone starting in electronics with a hands-on mindset, pride in quality work, and a desire to learn and grow a long-term career.

You will fault-find, work with circuit boards, and use test gear like multimeters, rebuilding units and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Training and support will help you progress to production assembly and headends.

Qualifications

• Early in electronics journey with willingness to learn.
• Soldering, hand tools, or basic electronics repair experience is helpful but not essential.
• Trade qualification or equivalent hands-on experience valued in electronics/mechanical fields.

Responsibilities

• Fault-find and repair handset units and circuit boards.
• Use test gear such as multimeters and follow work instructions.
• Rebuild units and ensure repairs meet quality and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate repair and assembly records and keep tools/workstation orderly.
