Laneway Talent is partnering with a well-established Australian organisation to find an experienced Transformation Lead to own a major technology and business transformation. This role requires a delivery-focused leader who can turn strategy and planning into practical, value-driven outcomes, engaging executives and frontline teams alike to drive change across the program.

You will lead from the front, establishing governance, managing budgets and vendors, and ensuring benefits realization.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large-scale IT transformation programs end-to-end.
• Strong program governance and delivery management experience.
• Experience managing budgets, commercial outcomes and vendors.
• Proven experience across data migration, testing, cutover and go-live.
• Strong organisational change and stakeholder management capability.
• Exceptional communication skills and confidence engaging with senior executives.
• The ability to operate strategically while getting into the detail when required.
• A strong understanding of business processes, technology and transformation delivery.
• Experience across digital platforms, enterprise systems or other large-scale technology transformations will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transformation from planning and design through to implementation and go-live.
• Establish strong program governance, milestones, reporting and accountabilities.
• Manage key vendors and implementation partners, ensuring delivery and performance remain on track.
• Own the program budget, costs, benefits and financial reporting.
• Lead organisational change, communication, readiness and adoption activities.
• Build strong relationships across operational teams, senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies and resources.
• Provide clear and concise reporting to senior executives on progress, risks and key decisions.
• Ensure multiple workstreams remain aligned to the overall transformation strategy.
