Job summary

The University of Wollongong invites applications for an Enterprise Security Architect on a 15-month fixed-term contract. This role shapes the university's cybersecurity future, guiding security design across cloud, IAM, and enterprise technology programs.

You will work with senior leaders and teams to establish security principles and ensure secure, resilient technology solutions while aligning with industry best practice.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise security architecture for large organisations.
• Strong knowledge of Azure, M365, Entra ID and cloud security controls.
• Experience with IAM, PAM and Zero Trust principles in complex environments.
• Familiar with NIST, ISO 27001 and Essential Eight governance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic security architecture leadership across programs.
• Establish security design principles and secure technology solutions.
• Influence technology decisions through security reviews and governance.
