Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a Product Support Engineer for Enterprise level products in Brisbane. You will provide Tier 1 support to administrators and enterprise-level partners, troubleshoot complex issues, and manage escalations with customers in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes expertise in email administration/security or DNS, with broader customer-facing technical experience welcome. Linux experience is a plus, and a collaborative, proactive mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a technical support/helpdesk environment from industrial placement year or since graduating.
• Experience with Email systems and Networking is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with customer-facing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 support to administrators and enterprise-level partners during business hours.
• Troubleshoot and escalate complex technical issues with customers via phone, web tools and email.
• Manage product escalations and liaise between customers and support tiers.
• Assist during installations and configuration as part of the wider team.
