University of the Sunshine Coast is seeking an Enterprise Planning and Performance Coordinator to drive how the University sets, measures, and delivers on strategic priorities. You will coordinate enterprise planning and performance frameworks and provide insights for executive decision-making across a large organisation.

You will connect data, people, and processes to ensure planning cycles run smoothly, enabling leadership to make informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Completion of a relevant degree and at least 4 years’ experience in enterprise planning, performance reporting or governance functions, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in planning and performance frameworks, including KPI development, target setting and reporting cycles.
• High-level analytical, research, and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication for executive reports.
• Experience with regulatory/compliance frameworks in a complex organisation.
• Strong organisational and time management skills; ability to manage competing priorities.
• Advanced computer literacy, including MS Office and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support delivery of enterprise planning and performance reporting frameworks, including Strategic Plan and AOP.

You will

• Coordinate and support the delivery of the University’s enterprise planning and performance reporting frameworks, including the Strategic Plan and Annual Operational Plan (AOP);
• Lead the coordination of quarterly performance reporting, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant reporting against strategic objectives, KPIs, and AOP targets;
• Coordinate the development, review, and maintenance of KPIs and operational targets, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and legislative requirements;
• Provide governance and reporting support for enterprise initiatives and key Commonwealth strategic reporting requirements, with a focus on ensuring alignment to strategic outcomes;
• Provide analytical insights and advice to support executive decision-making and organisational performance monitoring; and
• Drive continuous improvement of planning, reporting, and governance processes, systems, and tools, including leading the annual review of the Strategic Plan, supporting development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and contributing to the refresh of the four-year Strategic Plan and other Commonwealth strategic reporting requirements.

You’re a confident operator who brings structure and curiosity to your work, with a strong ability to translate complexity into clear, actionable insight. You engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, combining strong analytical capability with clear communication and sound judgement, and you’re motivated by roles where your work directly informs strategy, improves performance, and drives meaningful outcomes.

You will possess:

• Completion of a relevant degree and at least 4 years’ experience in enterprise planning, performance reporting or governance functions, or equivalent experience;
• Demonstrated experience in planning and performance frameworks, including KPI development, target setting and reporting cycles;
• High-level analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights;
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to produce concise, high-quality reports for executive audiences;
• Experience working within legislative, regulatory, or compliance frameworks in a complex organisation (higher education experience desirable);
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines;
• Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite and reporting tools; and
• Experience developing guidance materials or delivering training is desirable.
