Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Data Warehouse Architect to shape our enterprise data landscape in Melbourne. You will design, govern and evolve data warehouse, lakehouse and analytics architectures across cloud, on‑premises and SaaS environments, enabling trusted insights for decision making.

Qualifications

• Experience in data warehousing and data architecture within complex enterprise environments.
• Experience designing conceptual, logical, physical, and dimensional models (star schemas, fact and dimension tables).
• Advanced SQL and experience with large-scale data environments.
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Informatica, dbt, SSIS or similar.
• Knowledge of modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, Redshift or BigQuery.
• Experience with data governance, metadata management, lineage and data quality frameworks.
• Ability to optimise data platform performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of enterprise data warehouse, lakehouse, and analytics architectures across cloud, on-premises, and SaaS environments.
• Define data models, standards, integration patterns, and governance frameworks to improve data quality and accessibility.
• Provide technical leadership across ETL/ELT, data integration, platform modernisation, and cloud transformation.
• Partner with engineers, analysts and stakeholders to deliver secure, maintainable data solutions for reporting and BI.
