Harvey Norman is seeking a seasoned Data Governance Lead to drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of an enterprise data governance framework. You will oversee data catalogue, classification, discovery and lineage, and DLP initiatives, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and business needs.

You will partner with risk, privacy, and IT teams to embed governance controls, lead forums, and advance data maturity across a large, multicloud environment.

Qualifications

• Expert in enterprise data governance, including policy development and operating models.
• Experience implementing data governance tooling and platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data quality, metadata, privacy and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise data governance framework and governance councils.
• Own and optimise data governance platforms (catalogue, classification, discovery, lineage, DLP).
• Collaborate with business, IT, Risk, Legal, Privacy and Architecture teams to embed governance and accountability.
• Drive data governance policy development, controls, and processes and promote data literacy.
