Job summary

Harvey Norman is seeking an experienced Data Governance Manager to lead the development and continuous improvement of the enterprise data governance framework. You will own the implementation of data governance platforms, ensuring data is trusted, secure and leveraged to support growth and compliance.

You will collaborate with business, IT, Risk, Legal, Privacy and Architecture teams to embed governance controls and drive accountability across processes and platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and embedding enterprise-wide data governance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of data management principles, metadata, privacy and risk.
• Ability to lead governance initiatives and drive organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continually enhance the enterprise data governance framework across Harvey Norman.
• Establish and lead Data Governance forums and councils.
• Partner with business, IT, Risk, Legal, Privacy, and Architecture to embed governance controls.
• Provide SME on data governance, risk, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain governance policies, standards, and processes.
• Drive data quality remediation programs and capability uplift.
• Oversee data cataloguing, classification, and discovery tools.
