Job summary

Northcott is seeking an Enrolled Nurse for casual positions across Liverpool and Yagoona in NSW. The role covers administration of medications, personal care, mobility assistance, and collaboration with the care team to deliver holistic services.

A 24/7 rotating roster is possible, including overnights and weekends. Required are EN registration (AHPRA), a Diploma of Nursing, and at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Diploma of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical or disability support setting.
• A valid Australian driver’s license and ability to drive a 12-seater or wheelchair-accessible van.

Responsibilities

• Administering medications as prescribed and maintaining accurate medication records and documentation.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, and daily living tasks, including domestic duties.
• Assist customers with mobility and positioning using manual handling techniques and hoist equipment.
• Follow structured routines to ensure consistency in care delivery.
• Liaise with GPs, RNs, allied health professionals, and families for holistic care.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid.

Here’s what will help you shine in this role:

• Registration as an Enrolled Nursewith theNursing and Midwifery Board of Australia

• PEG feedingand safe swallowing practices
• Epilepsy managementand acquired brain injury care
• Bowel care, including enemas and suppositories

Note:Pay rate will be determined based on the total number of hours worked as an Enrolled Nurse (EN).
