Job summary

St George Private Hospital is seeking a Casual Enrolled Nurse to join our floating pool, delivering patient-centered care across acute surgical and medical wards. You’ll gain diverse clinical experience while supported by a multidisciplinary team and a flexible roster.

You’ll plan, evaluate and deliver care with guidance from the Nurse Unit Manager and Shift Leaders, enabling you to float across disciplines and build a respected portfolio of experience in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Qualified and registered as Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.
• Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in an acute hospital.
• Flexibility to work a rotating 7-day roster.
• Strong customer service, communication and teamwork are essential.
• Ability to plan, evaluate and deliver nursing care with guidance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care across multiple wards.
• Plan, evaluate and deliver care with supervision from Nurse Unit Manager and Shift Leaders.
• Float across clinical specialties as part of the pool.

As a member of our clinical team you will be planning, evaluating and delivering care to patients with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to our patients. Joining the Nursing Pool affords you the flexibility to work across multiple disciplines, whilst establishing a well-respected portfolio of clinical experience.

About You

You will be a trained nurse with strong customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate:

• Relevant qualifications and registrations with AHPRA as an EnrolledNurse
• Minimum 2 years’ recent experience working in an acute hospital environment
• Flexibility to work a rotating 7-day roster is essential
• Demonstrates excellent time management and organisational skills
• Work well with a team
