The GEM Unit at St Georges Hospital, Kew, part of St Vincent's Health Australia, is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join a supportive interdisciplinary team caring for older persons. You will provide holistic care, contribute to care planning, and support patients throughout their journey.

You will work with experienced clinicians, have opportunities for professional development, and be part of SVHA's commitment to compassionate, person-centred aged care in a Victorian public hospital setting.

About the Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM) Unit

A Place for compassionate care: The GEM Unit offers specialised care of older people, with a focus on comprehensive interdisciplinary assessment and management of medical, physical, psychological and social issues associated with the ageing process.

Our unit is located at St Georges Hospital in the Kew. Our nursing team is pivotal to the success of the broader, high performing interdisciplinary team, achieving ambitious outcomes while supporting the flow of patients throughout the broader organisation. We are a vital part of SVHM’s Subacute & Community Services, a key clinical program of SVHM and the broader St Vincent’s Health Australia (SVHA) Public Hospital division.

Qualification and Commitment

In addition to your experience, you will have:

• Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
• A passion and dedication to providing exceptional care to older persons
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and engage with all members of the interdisciplinary team
• Previous clinical experience is desirable
