Job summary

Mater Private Hospital Gold Coast is seeking Enrolled Nurses to join our Nurse Bank, Casual Pool. The role requires flexibility to work across a casual roster with a minimum of 12 months’ clinical experience and a strong commitment to high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.

You will provide patient-centred nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, performing delegated care and contributing to a positive patient journey through the perioperative pathway.

Qualifications

• Must hold current AHPRA registration with no adverse notation.
• Minimum 12 months’ clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Capable of managing time effectively and prioritising tasks.
• Comfort working in a multi-disciplinary team and providing patient-centred care.
• Good digital and computer literacy.
• Must participate in a 24/7 roster, including weekends.

About the role

Mater Private Hospital Gold Coast is seeking applications for Enrolled Nurses to join our Nurse Bank, Casual Pool. This opportunity requires flexibility to work across a casual roster. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 12 months’ clinical experience, along with a strong commitment to delivering high quality patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.

The Enrolled Nurse (EN) performs all aspects of delegated Nursing care with particular consideration to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of each patient/client and assists in the provision of comprehensive patient care under the supervision (direct or indirect) of a Registered Nurse.

As an Enrolled Nurse you will provide patient-centred nursing care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse on duty.

• Achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care while acting as patient advocate
• Demonstrating clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients during perioperative journey
• Working collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional care every time
• Maintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth
