Job summary

Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking an Enrolled Nurse in our Surgical/Medical Ward to join the team in a permanent part-time or full-time basis (negotiable). This role will be based in the private ward within Springfield Hospital.

Based in the Surgical/Medical ward, this role will see you provide care for patients within general surgical areas. As an integral team member, you will support the general function of the unit using best practice principles and education whilst drawing upon your

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA nursing registration as an Enrolled Nurse (no restrictions).
• Experience as an Enrolled Nurse in a hospital setting is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Strong communication with stakeholders and teamwork.

• Demonstrating exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients seeking outstanding care

• Working collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional care

Other skills and experience include:

• Current AHPRA nursing registration as an Enrolled Nurse (no restrictions)
• Experience as an Enrolled Nurse in a hospital setting is highly regarded
• Ability to work in an ever-changing and fast paced environment
• A strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to role model and promote the Mater values
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of different stakeholders both internally and externally at various levels
• Demonstrated ability to operate both in a team environment and autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning and strong listening, negotiation and decision-making skills
• Commitment to ensuring the levels of service is always delivered to patients at all times
• Availability to work a 24/7 rotating roster including mornings, afternoons and nights
