Job summary

Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton is seeking experienced Endorsed Enrolled Nurses for casual opportunities across a 24/7 roster including early, late, night and weekend shifts.

The role includes delivering high-quality patient care, utilising clinical expertise, and collaborating with the nursing team to continuously improve outcomes. This is supported by not-for-profit salary packaging and additional staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA nursing registration as an Enrolled Nurse (no restrictions).
• Prior experience as an Enrolled Nurse preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously with initiative.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Commitment to delivering high levels of patient care.

About the role

Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton are looking for experienced and passionate Endorsed Enrolled Nurses who are interested in opportunities on a casual basis.

Flexible shift opportunities available, with shift types available across a 24/7 roster, including early, late, night, and weekend shifts.

Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton has been supporting the health of people living in Central Queensland for more than a century. Our heritage listed Kenmore building was purchased by the Sisters of Mercy in 1915 and opened as the first Mater Misericordiae Hospital north of Brisbane on 14 November in the same year.

Salary range: $37.93 - $40.34 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!

What you’ll be doing

• Achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care
• Demonstrating exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients seeking outstanding care
• Implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision
• Working collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional care every time
• Maintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth

About you

To be successful in this position, you will have the following:

• Current AHPRA nursing registration as an Enrolled Nurse (no restrictions)
• Prior experience as an Enrolled Nurse would be highly desired
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of different stakeholders both internally and externally at various levels
• Demonstrated ability to operate both in a team environment and autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning and strong listening, negotiation and decision-making skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Commitment to ensuring the levels of service is delivered to patients at all times
