Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service in Far North Queensland seeks an Enrolled Nurse Advance Skills at the Specialist Clinic, Innisfail Hospital. You will deliver safe, high-quality nursing care across outpatient and inpatient services and support delegated treatments.

Qualifications

• Enrolled Nurse with registration and relevant post-qualification practice.
• Experience in outpatient and inpatient care preferred.
• Experience with Telehealth and wound management support.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care including activities of daily living.
• Perform vital signs, ECGs, urinalysis and point-of-care tests.
• Maintain clean, stocked specialist clinic rooms.
• Support patients during Telehealth appointments.
• Handle Holter monitor application and removal.

About your role:

Your main tasks may include (but are not limited to):

• Direct patient care including ADLs
• Performing vital signs, ECG's, urinalysis and other point of care-testing.
• Keeping specialist clinic rooms clean and re-stocked.
• Assisting with and accompanying patients during Telehealth appointments.
• Holter monitor application and removal.
