Job summary

Northern Sydney Local Health District is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join Surgical Ward 3B at Hornsby Hospitals. You will deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients in a fast-paced general surgical unit.

Permanent Full Time role with 38 hours per week, supervised by a Registered Nurse, offering opportunities to strengthen clinical skills in wound care, venous access devices, and postoperative care within a supportive multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult surgical patients.
• Assist under supervision of a Registered Nurse in a busy ward.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to plan and deliver care.
• Administer medications in accordance with policies and procedures.
