Job summary

Northlakes Doctors is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our privately owned General Practice. The role involves working under supervision to deliver person-centred care, vaccinations, wound care, and minor procedures support in a community clinic.

Hours are 1–2 days per week plus every second Saturday, with potential increase during holidays. Applicants should hold Diploma of Nursing and current AHPRA registration and have reliable transport.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Nursing is required.
• Current AHPRA Registration is required.
• Experience in healthcare, aged care, or community support is preferred.
• Compassionate, respectful approach to client care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
• Current driver’s licence with access to a reliable vehicle.

Job description

We are a privately owned General Practice and looking for an enrolled nurse to join our team and who can work 1-2 days per week and every second Saturday to join our team. There will be increase in hours covering other nurses on holidays.

The Role

We are currently seeking compassionate and motivated Enrolled Nurses (ENs) to join our team at Northlakes Doctors.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an EN looking to continue their career in a community nursing setting.

Primary Purpose

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide person-centred care in our clinic. The role includes but is not limited to providing vaccinations to both children and adults, wound management, ear syringing, ECG tracing, spirometry, set up and support for minor procedures.

Reporting to the Client Care Advocate (RN), you will deliver high-quality nursing and personal care within your clinical scope, making a meaningful difference every day.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Diploma of Nursing
• Current AHPRA Registration
• Experience in healthcare, aged care, or community support
• A compassionate, respectful approach to client care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
• Current driver’s licence and continued access to a reliable vehicle
