Job summary

Respect is recruiting an Enrolled Nurse to work collaboratively with Registered Nurses and care staff in a not-for-profit aged care setting in Queensland. You will support clinical outcomes, monitor resident wellbeing, and contribute to a safe, respectful care environment where dignity guides everyday practice.

The role requires a Diploma of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse, with at least 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience, preferably in aged care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive admission and ongoing assessments with residents and families to identify care needs and support individualised care planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation that reflects care delivery and resident outcomes.
• Administer medications safely and ensure correct handling, storage, and record-keeping.
• Monitor residents’ health, report changes promptly to Registered Nurses, and support the care team in delivering safe, person-centred care.
• Participate in team handovers, care planning discussions, and initiatives that promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents

About You

You’llthrive with us if you have:

• Diploma of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse, with a minimum of 2 years post-graduate clinical experience, preferably in aged care.
• Strong clinical skills, sound judgement, and the ability to monitor, assess, and respond to changes in residents’ health.
• Knowledge of residential care practices, care planning, clinical documentation, and the Commonwealth Aged Care Funding Instrument.
• Understanding of aged care accreditation processes and a commitment to providing safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with residents, families, and the care team.
• Current National Police Certificate and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain), required immunisations, and a flexible, professional approach to shift work.

*The successful candidate will receive a base salary between the range of $79,000 to $90,000.
