Job summary

Torbay Lifestyles and Care in Hervey Bay, QLD, is seeking an Enrolled/Registered Nurse to lead a care team and deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing for residents in our aged care facility and independent living village.

You will work closely with residents, families and clinical staff to develop personalised care plans, monitor health, administer treatments, and coordinate emergency responses. A strong leadership mindset and commitment to quality care are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing with current unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificates.
• Maintain up-to-date professional practice and infection control per Nurses Code of Conduct.
• Valid Police Certificate.
• COVID-19 vaccinations x 2 and current flu vaccination highly recommended.
• Experience in Aged Care and willingness to undertake ongoing mandatory training.
• Developing, reviewing and maintaining care plans and health records.
• Awareness of Aged Care Standards and accreditation process.
• Understanding of WHS and safe work practices.
• Ability to delegate effectively and stay informed of process.
• Passion for aged care and commitment to improving residents' quality of life.
