Job summary

BaptistCare Amberlea Community in Drouin, VIC, is seeking an Enrolled Nurse for casual shifts in a busy aged care setting. You’ll deliver safe, person-centred clinical care and support a dedicated care team.

You must hold current AHPRA registration as an RN, have aged care experience desirable, and be comfortable with documentation, medications, and computer tasks. The role offers competitive hourly rates, casual loading, and access to NFP benefits, with strong values and leadership

THE ROLE

As an Enrolled Nurse at BaptistCare Amberlea Community, you’ll provide safe, high-quality, person-centred clinical care while leading and supporting the care team around you. This is a role with real clinical responsibility and real human connection.

• Deliver safe, high-quality clinical care that keeps residents’ health, wellbeing, and dignity at the centre
• Lead and support care staff, ensuring practice is within scope and standards are upheld
• Maintain clear, respectful communication with residents, families, and colleagues
• Ensure safe and compliant medication managementContribute actively to continuous improvement and clinical governance
• Maintain your own professional development and currency within your scope of practice

ABOUT YOU

You don’t need a long history in aged care to thrive here — you need solid clinical foundations, a person-centred mindset, and the drive to lead well.

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no conditions or undertakings)
• Experience in aged care or with elderly people (highly desirable but not essential)
• Confident in clinical environments — you’re comfortable guiding a care team and holding the standard
• Strong communicator — clear, respectful, and consistent with residents, families, and staff
• Comfortable with basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Hold or be willing to obtain a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Proof of working rights in Australia
